Graduating? Leave your legacy behind by donating your cap, gown, and hood to the School of Social Work.

What is it?

Pass the Cap is an annual donation drive that collects graduation garb from students currently graduating who do not wish to keep their items. The program allows future graduates to borrow the items if they have financial limitations.


Why donate?

  • Do good! Save future graduates’ money!
  • Convenient disposal of one-time use items

How to Donate

  1. Take your graduation photos
  2. Decide what you would like to donate, including caps, gowns, hoods, and tassels
  3. Locate the donation basket outside of the main SE doors to the arena (next to the Eternal Flame Sculpture)聽辞谤听drop off/mail items to the School of Social Work at your convenience

Social Work Connections Goals

  1. Connect social work students and early career social workers to their local leaders.
  2. Build a forum for dialogue on current issues in our local and global communities.
  3. Act as a point of advocacy for the promotion of social, economic, and environmental justice.
