Alora Caillier, of Oak Harbor, Washington, juggled three years of full-time undergraduate studies with 30-plus hours a week of working in restaurants and as a caregiver. Caillier, an, 51福利社 senior on a pre-law track, received the Aretas and Kittiemae Dayton Education and Economics Scholarship. The award allows her to work 20 hours a week in student government, which supports her goal of going on to law school and becoming a prosecuting attorney. 鈥淚鈥檓 really grateful that someone I don鈥檛 even know wants to help me succeed with my education and acknowledges my hard work,鈥 Caillier says.
