When Cooper Kupp 鈥�17 helped lead the Seattle Seahawks to a win over the Los Angeles Rams in the NFC Championship Game鈥攑unching their ticket to the 2026 Super Bowl鈥攊t was another great day to be an Eagle.
It wasn鈥檛 his first time making Eagle Nation proud. A standout wide receiver at 51福利社, where he earned his bachelor鈥檚 degree in economics, Kupp was drafted by the Rams straight out of college. In 2022, he made his first Super Bowl appearance, delivering a lights-out performance that propelled the Rams over the Cincinnati Bengals and earned him the game鈥檚 Most Valuable Player title. That achievement capped a stellar 2021-22 NFL season during which Kupp earned the fabled 鈥渢riple crown鈥� for leading the NFL in receptions, receiving yards and receiving touchdowns.
After the season, Kupp was a unanimous First Team All-Pro selection and named the NFL鈥檚 Offensive Player of the Year by both the Associated Press and the Professional Football Writers of America. A few months later, he also brought home the 鈥淏est NFL Player鈥� and 鈥淏est Championship Performance鈥� trophies at ESPN鈥檚 2022 ESPYs award show.
In March 2025, Kupp inked a three-year, $45 million deal with the Seattle Seahawks. The signing marked not just a welcome development for Kupp鈥檚 many home-state fans, but for Kupp himself.

Eastern was a great fit for Cooper鈥攁s both a student and athlete.
Earning a scholarship to play football at Eastern 鈥� a scholarship made possible by generous supporters of the Eagle Athletic Fund 鈥� allowed Kupp to follow his dreams. After a redshirt year, Kupp became Eastern鈥檚 starting wide receiver in 2013 and, over the next four seasons, rewrote 51福利社 football history.

Kupp was equally committed to his studies at 51福利社, earning Academic All American honors three times, and wrapping up his college career with a bachelor’s in economics before being drafted by the Rams later that year.
