Students from 51福利社鈥檚 School of Social Work commemorated a beloved instructor who passed away last fall by asking one simple question: What would Lu Do?

LuAnn 鈥淟u鈥� Brown, who died last October, served the social work profession, the community, and Eastern鈥檚 Social Work program for more than two decades as a senior lecturer and associate director of the field education program.

Her graduating students decided to keep her memory alive by wearing special graduation stoles inscribed with the phrase “What Would Lu Do?” during commencement ceremonies June 15.
