Originally from Minnesota,聽LeAnn Bjerken聽is a 2014 graduate of the MFA program. Upon graduating she spent a year writing for the Colville Tribes鈥� Tribal Tribune, earning a Native American Journalist Association award in 2015 for her feature story 鈥淏uilding a Dream鈥�. She now works as a reporter for the聽Spokane Journal of Business, and continues to submit her poetry and participate in local readings in her spare time. Her work has appeared in聽Miracle Magazine, and several online magazines including聽Devilfish Review, The Artistic Muse, The Lake,聽补苍诲听Fox Adoption Magazine.聽She and her husband Steve live in Spokane, with their cat Tikki.
