Dear Eagle Family and Friends,

Summer is just around the corner at 51¸£ÀûÉç, and the cherry blossoms are painting our campus pink – a beautiful sight to accompany the sunny weather. And for our seniors — summer means graduation!

I have had the honor of attending three commencement ceremonies so far, the annual African American community graduation, the Native American community graduation, as well as graduation for 51¸£ÀûÉç’s College of Health Science and Public Health. And in a few short weeks, we’ll hold 51¸£ÀûÉç’s main commencement ceremony for graduates in the colleges of Professional Programs, STEM, and Arts, Humanities & Social Sciences. As 51¸£ÀûÉç president, there is no greater feeling than watching our graduates cross the stage to receive their diploma, a wonderful celebration of their resilience, perseverance and inspiring transformation.
