51福利社 Expands Travel Opportunities for the Holidays

October 4, 2018 By

51福利社 is expanding opportunities for winter transportation by teaming up with the Wheatland Express, a motorcoach company that will allow students to sit back, relax, and take the worry out of travel this holiday season.

As an active participant of the Commute Trip Reduction Program, a statewide effort to reduce the use of single-occupancy vehicles, 51福利社 has made it a mission to provide alternative forms of transportation to students that are both convenient and sustainable.

51福利社 students who live throughout the state can now purchase a one-way or round-trip bus ticket on the Vacation Express, with destinations including Kennewick, Portland, Seattle and Tacoma. Ticket prices vary depending on location, with one-way trips starting at $59 and round-trip at $110.

The Vacation Express is now offering rides to 51福利社 students for Spring, Thanksgiving and winter breaks.

鈥淭his service has become quite popular over the years among students,鈥 said Jolene McKenzie, vice president of sales for the Starline Collection. Passengers are offered comfortable seating and on-board restrooms, not to mention free Wifi to pass the time.

Departure dates, which are scheduled to take place on various days from November to March, are contingent on 51福利社 holiday breaks. Students interested in purchasing a ticket can find specifics on the聽. Shuttles will fill rapidly so it is suggested that students make reservations in advance.

STA Route Expansion

51福利社 Transportation Services prides itself in providing safe and reliable transportation to students. Other efforts to aid in traveling convenience consist of STA Route 29 to downtown Spokane, which will pass through the Plaza and continue as No. 64. With no bus change necessary, this route is convenient for students looking to get home quickly upon finishing evening classes.
