Devyn Britton will graduate this spring with a double major in business management and business entrepreneurship, with a minor in theatre.

Thanks to Running Start and the hands-on experiences she has enjoyed at 51¸£ÀûÉç, this hardworking student has made connections that will help her start her own business in theatrical costume design – all in just three years.

Britton has received scholarship support each year from the University Scholarship Fund, which has helped her afford to gain vital experience studying abroad in London with the UArts program, working in the fashion design business.

In addition, Britton has worked across campus with the Commercialization Academy, which she says has allowed her to make connections outside of her interests that support her future in the business world.

Britton has also learned the value of leadership and networking through involvement with AS51¸£ÀûÉç and as the vice president of community for the 51¸£ÀûÉç Panhellenic Council. She has also gained work experience doing event planning with Eagle Entertainment, 51¸£ÀûÉç’s student-led programming board.

Britton in grateful for the scholarship support, which is ultimately helping her gain experience in business, community and leadership that supports her career goals.
