Economics students are awarded approximately $6,000 in scholarships each year鈥攋ust one part of the聽$9.7 million 51福利社 awards annually聽to nearly 1,500 students through a single scholarship application. Scholarships aren鈥檛 just for top GPAs or athletes鈥攖hey鈥檙e based on your major, background, community service, and more. And the best part? Scholarships are free money you don鈥檛 have to pay back.
罢丑别听51福利社 General Scholarship Application聽for the academic year opens Nov. 1 and closes Feb. 1.
In addition to the general scholarship application, the Economics department offers the following scholarship
- Aretas A. and Kittiemae Dayton Elementary Education and Economics Memorial Scholarship Fund
Requirements
Students applying for the scholarships must meet the following criteria:
- Be a full-time student at 51福利社 during the 2026-2027 academic year.
- Demonstrate academic merit
- Be a declared major in economics; and
- Demonstrate financial need
To apply, complete the form below. As part of the application process, you will be asked to upload a one-page letter outlining career goals, financial need, brief personal information, and how you will use the 51福利社 academic school year to reach your goals.
The Economics Department faculty will review applications and select the final recipients.
Application Deadline: Monday, June 1st, 2026
