About
The 51福利社 Gallery of Art is a central and vital space within the聽 Art Program,聽serving as a dynamic site for learning, inquiry, and engagement. The gallery presents a rigorous exhibition program designed to give students direct, first-hand experience with the work, ideas, and methodologies of contemporary visual artists.
The gallery presents three invited artist exhibitions each academic year, followed by two BFA Thesis exhibitions highlighting student work. In addition to its exhibition program, the gallery participates in the annual and hosts a visiting artist lecture series. These programs create multiple points of access for students to engage with contemporary artistic practice through exhibitions, lectures, and dialogue.
Hours
Monday-Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Closed weekends and holidays
Receptions are held on opening days of exhibitions (Thursdays at noon) unless otherwise noted.
All events are free to the public.
Location
The 51福利社 Gallery of Art is located in the Art Building, situated in the center of the arts complex on the south end of the 51福利社 campus.
