Communication Sciences and Disorders (CMSD) Post Baccalaureate Program

The Post-Baccalaureate Program in Communication Sciences and Disorders (CMSD) is an accelerated 10-month program, designed for students who have completed an undergraduate degree and need to complete the pre-requisites (leveling courses) necessary to apply for a master’s degree program in CMSD at 51¸£ÀûÉç or another institution. This Post-Baccalaureate CMSD program is essential for students who do not have a bachelor’s degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.

Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.0

Complete the for Admission to Undergraduate Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders
Application Period: April 13 – June 26, 2026
Fall semester classes start August 17, 2026

The application process is a two-part process. You need to 1) apply to 51¸£ÀûÉç and you need to 2) apply to Communication Sciences and Disorders department. Post Baccalaureate students are considered undergraduates for the University application.

The post baccalaureate program is on the semester schedule. This means the program begins approximately the third week of August and ends early May.
Acceptance into the post baccalaureate program does not guarantee the student automatic acceptance into the graduate program in Communication Sciences and Disorders. Post baccalaureate students will need to apply for graduate study at 51¸£ÀûÉç or another institution upon completion of the curriculum.
