The Aging Studies Minor provides the opportunity to learn about various perspectives in aging, while gaining specialized, in-depth knowledge and skills in working with older adults. Includes gaining specialized, add-on professional knowledge in aging that can enhance a resumé on the job market. This fully online, asynchronous minor is designed to fit a flexible schedule. 

In this program, courses cover topics such as:

  • Different aspects of aging
  • Programs, services, and issues involved in working with older persons
  • How different populations experience aging
  • U.S. social policies and programs related to aging
