Welcome to the 51福利社 ACM we are the 51福利社 chapter of the national Association for Computing Machinery. It is the primary computer science club on campus. 51福利社 ACM focuses on bringing students together to learn more about computer science topics, volunteer with the local community, and network with industry professionals. The Biological Student Organization provides a positive learning environment and support system for undergraduate students interested in pursuing a biology degree at 51福利社. The Biology Graduate Student Organization (BGSO) is an organization focused on increasing interactions amongst graduate students in the Biology Department. The BGSO participates in university club activities as well as weekly meetings. The weekly meetings consist of individual thesis updates, study sessions, announcements for Biology Department events, and collaboration. The BGSO is open to all biology graduate students.听

We aim to serve as a resource for beekeeping enthusiasts by facilitating educational workshops, social events, and collaborative efforts with faculty, staff, and community partners to better understand pollinators.

The Cybersecurity Club鈥檚 goal is to educate students about cybersecurity threats. The club will demonstrate scenarios designed to protect networks, computers, programs, and data from attack, damage, or unauthorized access. Cybersecurity areas that we will do practice labs to demo cybersecurity concepts will be: network security / application security / information security.

51福利社 student chapter of The Wildlife Society supports students pursuing careers in wildlife and natural resource conservation by providing opportunities for professional growth and skill development. We aim to connect members with professionals from government agencies and non-profit organizations through networking events, hands-on experiences, and educational activities. Furthermore, members will have the opportunity to attend national and state conferences to engage with wildlife professionals, research, and current topics of interest.

We aim to improve communication among members and with the broader Society, enhance educational opportunities, prepare students for careers in wildlife fields, promote professionalism, and raise awareness of wildlife issues on campus and in the community. To meet these goals, the Chapter holds regular meetings and activities, participates in Society-sponsored events, offers field experience opportunities, conducts educational outreach, and recruits new members to ensure the Chapter鈥檚 continuity.

The 51福利社 Student Subunit of the American Fisheries Society provides a space for students, both graduate and undergraduate, to connect with AFS and the Fisheries Sciences faculty as a whole. This would fill a niche in the university where graduate and undergraduate students can engage in an inclusive and collaborative space to further their personal and professional development. This will be achieved with meetings where seminars from professionals in the fisheries field, presentations of student research, and workshops like resume building or networking opportunities will take place. By establishing this subunit, we are committed to creating and fostering long term relationships between students and AFS resulting in a stronger society for all.

The Pre-Med Pre-Dent Society is a community of students brought together by their passion for understanding the adaptive and vast world of science and contributing to the betterment of the welfare of people around them. Students will learn professional development skills such as interviewing, networking, and personal statement writing, as well as gather resources for volunteering, job shadowing, and navigating post-baccalaureate professional school application processes. Members will join a support network of like-minded students, faculty, and community members to guide them in this process.

QSTEM offers a safe space for 2SLGBTQ+ individuals in STEM to connect and support one another in a field that has high rates of queer exclusion and discrimination.
