Excel Education Resources

Online

Excel Education Resources provides a variety of both at-home and on-site teacher professional development options (K-12) which enhance teaching skills while earning credits or clock hours through 51¸£ÀûÉç.

Virtual Education Software

Online

Virtual Education Software, Inc. (VESi) offers high quality online courses in partnership with 51¸£ÀûÉç. Courses may be taken to fulfill continuing education, professional development, salary advancement or degree completion requirements.

PCE Summer Clinics & Workshops

51¸£ÀûÉç Professional & Continuing Education offers non-credit summer clinics designed to enhance workforce development.

Youth Camp: 2-Day Forensics I In-Person | Cheney Campus

Developed in collaboration with the 51¸£ÀûÉç Criminal Justice Department, this hands-on Youth Forensics Camp introduces students to crime scene investigation and forensic science through interactive labs and real-world activities. Students rising into grades 7–12 will explore fingerprinting, crime scene documentation, and evidence analysis while learning from 51¸£ÀûÉç faculty.

Daily Schedule: 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. (30-minute lunch break each day)
Lunch Notice: Lunch is not provided. Students must bring their own lunch. Onsite food purchasing is not available.
Location: Patterson Hall, 51¸£ÀûÉç Cheney Campus
Cost: $150 per student

Music Educator Kodály Level I In-Person | Cheney Campus

Developed and taught by the 51¸£ÀûÉç Department of Music, discover the transformative Kodály Concept, a student-centered approach that builds strong musical foundations through singing, movement, and active participation.

Join 51¸£ÀûÉç’s Kodály Level 1 Certification program this summer, held in collaboration with the Spokane Area Youth Choirs, providing opportunity for teaching demonstrations and pedagogy in action! Our intensive two-week course offers 77 clock hours of professional development in Pedagogy, Musicianship, Conducting, Music Literature, Choral Ensemble, and Special Topics for Music Educators.Ìý

Leading Forward: MultiCare's Strengths-Based Leadership in Action

MultiCare Leadership Development SeriesÌý

This fall, MultiCare partnered with 51¸£ÀûÉç Professional & Continuing Education to deliver a four-week leadership development program designed for emerging and current leaders. Participants explored CliftonStrengths, transformational leadership practices, and crucial conversation skills while engaging directly with senior executives. Through interactive sessions and guided discussions, attendees gained tools to build trust, lead across differences, and successfully manage teams.
