Confirm Your Enrollment

What You鈥檒l Need

  • Your admissions login information (the email and password used to submit your 51福利社 application or check your application status).
  • A credit or debit card to pay your new student enrollment fee.

Where to Start

  1. Visit your .
  2. Select view update to view your decision letter.
  3. Select the “Next Step: Complete Your Enrollment” button.
  4. Complete the “Confirm Your Enrollment” form.
  5. Pay the enrollment fee in the Payment Due section on your .

What You Should Know

  • Complete your online form and submit your enrollment fee.
  • Once we receive your enrollment fee, you鈥檒l begin to receive more information from various offices about orientation and getting your classes.

Set Your Username Password

What You鈥檒l Need

  • Your Username and 51福利社ID number (found at the top of your acceptance letter and in a series of emails you received).
  • Your personal information, including the name used on your admissions application (your legal first name and legal last name) and your date of birth.
  • Getting stuck? Use our .

Where to Start

  1. Visit ewu.edu/accounts.
  2. Click the “Activate Account” button.
  3. Follow the posted directions to activate your 51福利社 account. Use your Username and 51福利社ID number.

What You Should Know

  • When you’re done with this step, make sure to remember your username and password! It will be used to register for classes, access online courses, update your information and more.

Get Your I-20

What You鈥檒l Need

Where to Start

  1. Email Jamal Benhamou our International Student Advisor/SEVIS Coordinator at jbenhamou@ewu.edu to start your I-20 and begin the visa application process.

What You Should Know

Freshman

  • The I-20 is your certificate of eligibility that is used to apply for a visa.
  • Timelines for visa interviews vary, so please make sure to contact Global Student Services as soon as you confirm.

Transfer

  • You will need to initiate the transfer of your SEVIS record to 51福利社, so make sure to contact Global Student Services as soon as confirm.

Apply for Campus Housing

What You鈥檒l Need

  • Before you apply for housing make sure that your visa has been approved.
  • Your Username and password (see Step 2).
  • A credit or debit card to pay your non-refundable housing application fee.

Where to Start

  1. Visit ewu.edu/housing.
  2. Click “Apply” in the listed links.

What You Should Know

  • The application process is run entirely through Housing & Residential Life. All the information you need appears on their website.
  • Live in housing your first year and enjoy the Global Resident Tuition Discount.

Learn About Orientation

What You鈥檒l Need

  • Confirmation that you’re attending 51福利社 (see step 1).
  • Received your I-20 and student visa (see Step 3).

New Student Orientation and Welcome Week聽

  1. All incoming students are invited to participate in New Student Orientation and Welcome Week.
  2. Check your personal email for instructions and invitation to 51福利社’s New Student Orientation.
  3. Visit ewu.edu/orientation for information and updates.
  4. If you are not able to attend in-person, contact orientation@ewu.edu.

Mandatory International Student Orientation

  1. The required international orientation is separate from the new student orientation.
  2. All incoming international students who arrived聽after Spring quarter must attend the Fall quarter orientation.
  3. Expect to receive an email about orientation dates and times from Global Student Services or contact global@ewu.edu.
  4. All students with J and F visas are required to attend the orientation session for federal compliance.

How to Get Your Classes

What You鈥檒l Need

  • Step 1 and Step 2 have to be complete!
  • Your Username (found at the top of your acceptance letter).
  • Time to schedule an appointment (Zoom and phone appointments available).

Where to Start

  1. Check your email for more information and instructions from your academic advisor.
  2. Visit for complete information about academic advising.

What You Should Know

  • If you do not hear from your academic advisor, contact the Center for Academic Advising & Retention to schedule an advising appointment.

Submit Your Final, Official Transcripts

What You鈥檒l Need

  • Final, official transcripts from any colleges and the last high school you attended.
    • Make sure your official high school transcript has your graduation date on it.
  • If your final official transcripts are from a foreign college or high school, they will need to be re-evaluated by a approved agency. You can order an evaluation from any NACES member but students who order through or will get a discount when completing their order.

Where to Start

  1. If ordering an evaluation through NACES make sure to select 51福利社 as the delivery destination.
  2. If mailing final official transcripts, send them to the Office of Admissions at the following address:

What You Should Know

  • 51福利社 uses your final, official transcripts to give you credit for the classes you’ve taken.
  • Your final, official transcript should have your graduation date on it.
    • For transfer students, send us your official transcript that includes your most recent credits.
  • You will not receive applicable college credit for any AP and IB courses until 51福利社 receives your official test scores.
  • If you don’t submit final, official transcripts, you can’t register for classes.

International Student Orientation

Where to Start

  1. Contact Global Student Services for registration and orientation location.

What You Should Know

  • The required international orientation is separate from the new student orientation.
  • All incoming international students who arrived聽after the Spring quarter must attend the Fall quarter orientation.
  • It is a 2-hour meeting that takes place on the Monday before classes from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. It is held on the Cheney 51福利社 campus.
  • All students with J and F visas are required to attend the orientation session for federal compliance.
