Get Started with Your 51福利社 Account

Welcome to 51福利社! To access email, register for classes, apply for scholarships, and use other tools, activate your account and enroll in Duo, our two-factor authentication system.

Activate Your 51福利社 Account

This step sets up your Single Sign-On (SSO) account, allowing you to access your 51福利社 email and log into student services.

What You鈥檒l Need

  • Your Username (found in your admission letter).
  • Your 51福利社 ID number (found in your admission letter).

How to Activate Your Account

  1. Go to .
  2. Click Activate Account.
  3. Enter your first name, last name, username and date of birth.
    • When entering your first name, be sure it matches the same name on your application.
  4. Set your password and choose a security question.
  5. Click Update Profile to add a personal email address and phone number.
    • This information helps with account recovery if you ever get locked out.

Enroll in Duo Two-Factor Authentication

To enhance your account’s security, 51福利社 requires enrollment in Duo, a two-factor authentication (2FA) system. This adds an extra layer of protection by requiring a second verification method when accessing 51福利社 services.

What You’ll Need

  • A smartphone (recommended) or tablet or a phone capable of receiving text messages or calls.
  • Students with an international phone number should contact the Help Desk at 509.359.2247 or via email at helpdesk@ewu.edu for assistance.

Set Up Your Device

  1. Go to the two-factor authentication portal: .
    • Click Register.
    • Enter your 51福利社 email and password.
  2. Begin Duo Enrollment:
    • After logging in, you’ll be prompted to start the Duo enrollment process.鈥�
  3. Choose Your Authentication Device:
    • Mobile Phone (recommended): Works with the Duo Mobile app.
    • Tablet: iOS or Android tablets.
    • Landline: For phone call verifications.
  4. Set Up Your Device:
    • Mobile Phones:
      • Enter your phone number and confirm.
      • Install the Duo Mobile app from your device’s app store.
      • Open the app and scan the QR code displayed on the enrollment page.
    • Tablets:
      • Install the Duo Mobile app.
      • Scan the QR code as prompted.
    • Landlines:
      • Enter the phone number and follow the prompts for phone call verifications.
  5. Complete Enrollment:
    • Once your device is set up, you’ll see a confirmation screen. It’s recommended to add a secondary device, such as a landline, as a backup.
  6. Test Duo Authentication:
    • Log out and log back in to confirm that Duo prompts appear and your device receives authentication requests.

Once you鈥檝e completed both steps, activating your account and enrolling in Duo, you鈥檙e ready to:

  • Check your 51福利社 email
  • Apply for scholarships
  • Register for classes
  • Access Canvas and other online tools

Tip: It may take up to 48 hours to gain full access to 51福利社 systems after activation. Once your account is active, Duo will prompt you for verification each time you log in. To reduce how often you’re asked, select 鈥淩emember Me鈥� during the login process.
