Computer Science Scholarships

Who should apply for scholarships?

You should! Undergraduate and Graduate Computer Science and Cybersecurity students are awarded approximately $59,870 in scholarships each year—just one part of the $9.7 million 51¸£ÀûÉç awards annually to nearly 1,500 students through a single scholarship application.

Scholarships aren’t just for top GPAs or athletes—they’re based on your major, background, community service, and more. And the best part? Scholarships are free money you don’t have to pay back.

Apply Nov. 1 – Feb. 1 with the 51¸£ÀûÉç General Scholarship Application and open the door to funding your education.

Cybersecurity External Non- 51¸£ÀûÉç Scholarships

The Department of Defense Cybersecurity Service Academy (DOD CSA) (formerly the DoD Cyber Scholarship Program) is both a scholarship program for the DoD, and a capacity-building tool for the nation. The program is a result of commitment from DoD and Congress to support higher education as a means to prepare the DoD workforce to deal with threats against the Department’s critical information system and networks.

Students pursue studies in well-established cybersecurity programs, engage with hands-on experiences, participate in cyber competitions and pursue opportunities for professional development (e.g., earn industry certifications, and present at conferences).

Cybersecurity students can apply for additional external scholarships to help cover tuition, books, and other expenses.
